MSACAA (Micro System of Auto-Collapse by Activation of Anomaly) / Two directional antennas, parallel electromagnetic camp, TV. 250 cm x 250 cm x 500 cm. 2005
I analyse a failure in tele-transmissions. The electromagnetic field they depend on, to work, is limited to the surface of the earth. The piece is situated 4 ½ m below earth, in a former shelter.
In this space of non-transmission I place a parallel model of tele-transmission with the objective of reordering the mechanism of control these media generate. The system becomes autonomous, as the electromagnetic field would control and activate the signal it receives.
An antenna in the surface receives and transmits a TV signal to a TV receptor, while the antenna situated underneath the earth (also connected to the TV and to the electromagnetic field created) produces high frequency interference. In this sense, a new order, conditioned by the self-collapse is created.
